Al Jarreau
Al Jarreau, is an American Jazz singer, born March 12, 1940 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is a Grammy Award winner in three different categories : Jazz, Pop, and R&B. The only recording artist in history to have done so. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ As the son of a vicar, he had his first singing experience in a church choir. He graduated from Ripon College in 1962, gained a master's degree in psychology, and worked as a rehabilitation counsellor before starting to do music professionally. One of Jarreau's most commercially and artistically successful albums is Breakin' Away (1981), which includes the hit song "We're in this Love Together". He performed the theme to the 1980s American television show Moonlighting. Among other things, he is well known for his scat singing and the ability perfectly imitate conventional instumentation guitar, bass and percussion.
