Alexandria has an average population of about 3,500,000 inhabitants and a surface area equal to 2,900 kmē. Due to the intermediate geographical location of Egypt it usually has all four seasons but as Alexandria lies directly on the sea it is considered to be mostly cooler than all the other governates but with an averagely higher humidity.
