Akiko Yano
Akiko Yano (矢野 顕子 Yano Akiko) is a Japanese pop and jazz musician. She was born as Akiko Suzuki (Suzuki Akiko) on February 13, 1955. She married and soon after divorced Makoto Yano, a producer of her first recording. She later married Ryuichi Sakamoto, one of the members of Yellow Magic Orchestra, then divorced him in 2002. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ In addition to her solo work, she has recorded with Thomas Dolby, Yngwie Malmsteen, The Chieftains, The Hammonds, Jamaaladeen Tacuma, Kazumi Watanabe, The Boom, Tetsuro Kashibuchi and Ryuichi Sakamoto.
