Airdrie, Scotland
Airdrie is a town located in North Lanarkshire, Scotland, founded in 1150. It adjoins directly onto the neighbouring town of Coatbridge to the west, and lies approximately 12 miles to the east of Glasgow. It is the last major town in the Greater Glasgow metropolitan area on the eastern route towards Edinburgh.
