Airborne

• Airborne means carried by air, (e.g. airborne particles, airborne pollution) or carried in or on aircraft, (e.g. airborne radar). An aircraft is said to be airborne when it is in the air after taking off.
• Airborne forces refers also to the military troops trained and equipped to be transported by air and deployed by parachute, often to be landed behind enemy lines.
• Airborne is the name of the 1993 film starring Shane McDermott and Seth Green
