Ahman Green

Ahman Rashad Green (born February 16, 1977 in Omaha, Nebraska, USA) is an American Football Running Back who plays for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League

Personal

• Perhaps getting an early start on his future career, took his first steps ? running steps ? as a six-month-old baby
• Three months later, he nearly died after contracting an intestinal disease called Shigella; received a blood transfusion and spent three weeks in the hospital
• Also had a rod inserted into his jaw after a childhood accident.
• Once while challenging a friend to a race in his school gym, couldn?t stop and broke both his wrists and sustained a concussion

Batman

Green is nicknamed 'Moni' and 'Batman', most of his teamates and fans know him as Batman. In 1989 at the age of 12 Green had the famous Batman crest shaved into the back of his head for two years, after that the nickname "Batman" just stuck with him.

Green also has a Batman tatoo on his leg as well as an extensive collection of batman comic books and posters. After consecutive 1,000 yard seasons Green presented contributing teammates (offensive line, fullback, tight ends, wide receivers) with rings designed by Green. The rings have the 'Batman' crest on top, with each player's name and number on one crest and the phrase, "Tough times go away, not tough people," on the other crest
