Agnes Skinner

In the animated television series The Simpsons, Agnes Skinner, voiced by Tress MacNeille, is Seymour Skinner mother, with whom he still lives. Her voice and her laugh are remniscent of Phyllis Diller. When Agnes makes an appearance, she is usually controlling some aspect of the life of Seymour, who is also known as "Principal Skinner." She always yells "Seymour!" in order to get his attention. In early episodes, she also called him "Spanky." She was once the unintentional victim of a Bart Simpson prank; this may or may not have been what made her mean and bitter, as she was nice before it happened.

Agnes owns a dress that is very similar to the famous green dress that Jennifer Lopez once wore to the Oscars, and the dress, according to Sideshow Mel, was "held up by the collective will of everyone in the room" during Homer's Friar's Club Roast.

Mrs. Skinner dated Comic Book Guy in " Worst Episode Ever", an episode in which a heart attack forces Comic Book Guy to take a break from running his store, The Android Dungeon — much to Principal Skinner's dismay.
