Adolphus Busch

Colonel Adolphus Busch (July 10, 1839 Kastel near Mainz, Germany ? October 10, 1913 in Langenschwalbach, Germany), founded the Anheuser-Busch brewing company with his partner and father-in-law Eberhard Anheuser.

In 1912, Busch constructed the Adolphus Hotel in Dallas, Texas, then the tallest building in the state. Adolphus Busch is buried in Bellefontaine Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
