~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Acetone is a colorless mobile flammable liquid with melting point at -95.4 ?C and boiling point at 56.53 ?C. It has a relative density of 0.819 (at 0 ?C). It is readily soluble in water, ethanol, ether, etc., and itself serves as an important solvent. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ The most familiar household use of acetone is as the active ingredient in nail polish remover. Acetone is also used to make plastic, fibers, drugs, and other chemicals. Chemistry: Chemistry (in Greek: χημεία) is the science of matter that deals with the composition, structure, and properties of substances and with the transformations that they undergo. In the study of matter, chemistry also investigates its interactions with energy and itself (se... C: :This page is about the letter C itself. For other uses of C, see C (disambiguation).... Relative density: Relative density (also known as specific gravity) is a measure of the density of a material. It is dimensionless, equal to the density of the material divided by the density of water (or, sometimes used for gases, of air).... | ~ Table of Content ~
