Accent may refer to—

- in linguistics, a method of pronouncing words common to a certain region. It can also refer to the stress on a certain syllable.
- in writing, a type of diacritic. See acute accent ( ´ ) or grave accent ( ` ) for more information.
- in poetry, the stressed portion of a word.
- in music, one of a few specific types of dynamic, usually written above a note (eg. ^ or >) that instructs the musician to play the note underneath with greater force than usual. It is also the more general concept which includes agogic (length), pitch, and dynamic accents.
- the Accent programming language for computers.
- the Accent operating system kernel.
- the Hyundai Accent. a car built in produced by Hyundai Motor Company.
