Abstract impressionism
Abstract impressionism is a type of Abstract expressionism where brushstrokes are uniform and non-energetic, similar to the brushstrokes of the Impressionists, where in the action painting style of Abstract expressionism brushes were often dispensed with and paint was applied non-uniformly and energetically.
