Aarhus municipality
Aarhus municipality, also commonly known by its Danish spelling ?rhus municipality, is a municipality (Danish, kommune) in Aarhus County on the east coast of the Jutland peninsula in central Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 469 km?, and has a total population of 294.954 (2005). Its Lord Mayor is Louise Gade, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
