A92 road


 
 

The A92 is a major road in Scotland. It runs north east from its junction with the M90 motorway near Dunfermline past Cowdenbeath, Lochgelly, Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes, Ladybank and Newport-on-Tay.

It then crosses the Tay Road Bridge to Dundee and continues along the east coast past Monifieth, Carnoustie, Arbroath, Montrose and Inverbervie before terminating at Stonehaven where it merges with the A90 for the final 15 miles to Aberdeen - this section acting mainly as a coastal tourist route for traffic bound for the Granite City.
