Entering Kent, it runs past Swanley and Brands Hatch, then through Maidstone, Ashford, Hythe and Folkestone before terminating at the docks in Dover. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ The section of the road near Kent is closely paralleled by the M20 motorway. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
