A Simple Wish is a 1997 theatrical comedy about a male fairy godmother named Murray who tries to help eight-year-old Anabel to fulfil her wish that her father, a cab driver, would win the leading role in a Broadway musical.

Murray comes through and makes Anabel's wish come true. Tony Sable slips on a bucket and starts complaining and get fired and Oliver gets cast in his place. They play was a success.
