A.L.T.
A.L.T. (born 1970 as Al Trivette) is an American rapper of Mexican and French American descent from Rosemonte, California. He started rapping in 1983 and started working together with producer Tony G in 1989. Tony G asked him to write a track for Kid Frost; and Frost in turn asked him to join his Latin supergroup Latin Alliance. In 1991, his d?but album "Another Latin Timebomb" (mainly produced by Mike Greene and Geoff Rios) came out on Atlantic/East West, spawning the world-wide crossover hit "Tequila", a cover version of the song by the Champs. After his second album, "Stone Cold World" (mainly produced by Tony G), came out independently, A.L.T. continued collaborating with rappers such as SlowPain, Mellow Man Ace and Kid Frost, proving to be one of the driving forces behind the L.A. Latin rap scene. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Tony G: :This article is about the poker player. For the hip hop producer, see Tony G (producer).... Latin Alliance: Latin Alliance was a Latin rap supergroup established by Kid Frost. The name Latin Alliance was translated into Italian and gave its name to Italy's first hip hop mag, Aelle, short for Alleanza Latina. Latin Alliance's best known track is a cover version of "Low Rider" by War.... The Champs: The Champs were a one hit wonder, most famous for their instrumental "Tequila". Formed by studio executives to record a B-Side for a single, the intended throwaway track became more famous than its A-Side. There are many cover versions of the songs, for example by rappers A.L.T. and XL Singleton.... A.L.T. related Images and Photos (experimental) | ~ Table of Content ~
