2005 Six Nations Championship
The 2005 Six Nations Championship was the sixth edition of the Rugby Union Six Nations Championship to be held since the competition expanded in 2000 to include Italy. Before 1910 the competition was the Four Nations (excluded France). The teams competing, along with their home venues, were:

Unlike most rugby union competitions, the Six Nations has not adopted a bonus point system. Match winners receive two points, with one for a draw and none for a loss. The first tiebreaker is point differential.
