1932-33 NHL season
The 1932-33 NHL season was the 16th season of the National Hockey League. Nine teams each played 48 games. The New York Rangers beat the Toronto Maple Leafs three games to one for the Stanley Cup.This was the first season that the Calder Memorial Trophy was handed out for the best rookie of the year. The first winner was Carl Voss of the Detroit Red Wings (formally the Detroit Falcons).
