(Anesthesia) Pulling Teeth
"(Anesthesia) Pulling Teeth" is the first composition from original Metallica bassist Cliff Burton and is featured on Metallica's 1983 debut album Kill 'Em All. The song is an epic bass solo ,with a brief voice intro of "Bass solo take one" and a brief addition of Lars Ulrich on drums near the end of the song, that shows his bass playing techinuqes as well as his influences (Geddy Lee from Rush, Geezer Butler from Black Sabbath, Lemmy Kilmister from Motörhead, and jazz bassist Stanley Clarke).
